Ordinary plywood is a sheet material manufactured from thin layers or plies of wood veneer that are glued together with adjacent layers having their wood grain rotated up to 90 degrees to one another.

The most common nail used in construction as well as household projects around the world, wire nails are ones that are cut and manufactured from a coil of wire. From securing hardwood floors to common construction processes, it can be used as a fastener in almost every situation.

Native to the African rainforests, Teak Dabema is moderately durable and strong. Naturally resistant to decay, the wood is ideal for construction and flooring. While the Dabema sapwood is light pink or red in colour, the heartwood is dark brown and is easy to determine. The grain is typically interlocked and gives ribbon-like figures when quartersawn.

Known for its stability and strength, our Korinplex plywood product line is an excellent choice for a wide range of industrial, office, and home applications, offering unmatched flexibility with high impact resistance.

The Spider is the name of the plywood coated fully with polypropylene film, which is made of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant 0.5 mm thickness PP plastic on both sides, coating and connecting to the inner plywood core. The physical and mechanical properties are much higher than traditional film faced plywood.

Whitewood gives the finest quality lumber. It comes from the tallest hardwood tree, which can grow to 160 feet or more. The creamy white colour of whitewood is what makes it special. The wood has a straight grain and it is also soft. This makes it a great option for various cuts. Whitewood lumber can be easily shaped because of its soft texture.

A specialized, often hand-held, power tool used for cutting hard materials, ceramic tile, metal, concrete, and stone is known as a disc cutter. This tool is very similar to an angle grinder, chop saw, or even a die grinder, with the main difference being the cutting disc itself (a circular diamond blade, or resin-bonded abrasive cutting wheel for a disc cutter vs. an abrasive grinding wheel for an angle grinder). This tool is very effective in cutting very hard materials, especially when compared to hand tools.

African Mahogany is pink when freshly cut, darkening to a reddish-brown colour with pale golden-brown zones on exposure. The sapwood is yellowish-brown in colour and is up to 2 in. (51 mm) in width, and it is not always distinctly demarcated from the heartwood. The grain is sometimes straight, but generally interlocked, giving a characteristic stripe figure in quarter sawn stock. The texture is medium to coarse, but even. It has no distinct taste or odour. The planed surface is lustrous. Growth rings are fairly distinct to the naked eye due to the presence of terminal parenchyma.
