According to the European Standard EN197-1:2000, cement is a hydraulic binder, i.e., a finely ground inorganic material which, when mixed with water, forms a paste that solidifies by means of hydration reactions and processes and, after hardening, maintains strength and stability, even under water.

This product is manufactured to comply with BS EN 197-1:2011 CEM I, Class 42.5 N and Class-52.5 N and ASTM C-150-2018 Type I. The minimum strength required by both standards is exceeded by a considerable margin.

With a rated voltage of up to 450/750 volts, UCIC wires are manufactured as per BS, IEC and UL specifications. These cables are suitable for fixed and mobile interior installations and are used for internal wiring in buildings and electrical equipment.

A specialized, often hand-held, power tool used for cutting hard materials, ceramic tile, metal, concrete, and stone is known as a disc cutter. This tool is very similar to an angle grinder, chop saw, or even a die grinder, with the main difference being the cutting disc itself (a circular diamond blade, or resin-bonded abrasive cutting wheel for a disc cutter vs. an abrasive grinding wheel for an angle grinder). This tool is very effective in cutting very hard materials, especially when compared to hand tools.

Chequered Plate, also known as Steel Floor Plate or Steel Tread Plate, has a raised diamond lug pattern that provides excellent skid resistance for a wide range of applications.

A process that covers mild steel with a layer of zinc to provide resistance against corrosion is known as galvanized steel sheet.

Lafarge is one of the leading manufacturers of cement in Egypt. On account of its state-of-the-art plant in Sokhna, Lafarge Cement Egypt has 5 production lines, making it one of the largest plants in the world. The factory produces a wide range of high-quality cement for local and export markets.

UltraTech Cement is fully aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. It has been certified as 3.9 times ‘water positive’. UltraTech Cement has a power generation capacity of 125 MW through waste heat recovery systems, which is expected to reach 302 MW in fiscal year 2024. More than 80% of the company’s power consumption is met through captive power plants.

A new concept of rebar, the coiled reinforcing bar (or rebar in coils) brings many benefits such as reduced labour costs, reduced machining losses and steel use, better inventory management, and efficient use of storage. It is used in the same applications as straight-length rebar but is provided in coils. Some customers with automatic straightening and cutting machines prefer coils.
