A timeless, classic American wood that is used in furniture, flooring, cabinetry, joinery, and architectural millwork is red oak. The sapwood of red oak ranges from white to very light brown, while the heartwood is reddish-brown.

The sapwood of walnut is creamy white, while the heartwood is light brown to dark chocolate brown, occasionally with a purplish cast and darker streaks. Walnut is usually supplied steamed, which darkens the sapwood, but a very unique look can also be achieved by leaving it natural. The wood is generally straight-grained, but sometimes with a wavy or curly grain that produces an attractive and decorative figure. The dark heartwood will lighten in colour as it ages over time with exposure to UV light.

Cherry is a deciduous hardwood that possesses a fine, straight grain ranging from reddish brown to blond. Heartwood is a light pinkish brown when freshly cut, darkening to a medium reddish-brown with time and upon exposure to light. Sapwood is a pale yellowish colour.

Okoume is the wood of the Okoume tree (Aucoumea klaineana), a species native to west-central Africa, in particular Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, and the Republic of Congo. The lumber of this tree is known by many names, among them Acoume, Gaboon wood, Uume, and Zouga. Within its native range, Okoume is considered widespread and relatively common. Okoume is widely used for veneers and is often processed into plywood.

Teak Iroko is golden-orange to brown; lighter vessel lines are conspicuous on flat saw surfaces. The material may contain large, hard deposits of calcium carbonate in cavities, and the timber around them may be darker in colour. The grain is interlocked and sometimes irregular, and the texture rather coarse, but even, figure mottled. The wood is somewhat greasy and is odourless. Iroko is a highly valued commercial timber in Africa, for which demand is large.

Blockboard is a panel with a solid wood core, which may then be glued and overlaid with a cross-grain rotary veneer or with chipboard or MDF.

Chipboard is a kind of board that has tube holes inside it horizontally manufactured. During the production of the hollow chipboard core, we glued very small wood pieces and pressed them with high pressure and hot weather. Chipboard sheets are about 50-60% lighter than solid wood timbers. Lighter chipboard sheets are easily cut, processed, installed and used. The cost of a hollow-core board is lower than solid wood. So customer prefers to use tubular chipboard sheets.

Madarplex is a film-faced plywood that is lightweight, resistant to corrosion attack and water, easily combined with other materials and easy to clean and cut. Treating the edges with waterproof paint makes it highly water-and wear-resistant. Due to its durability and the easily handled surface, it can be used in open environments in construction and building.

Usage Time: 7 to 8 times

A timber that is flat, elongated, and rectangular with parallel faces that are higher and longer than wide is known as a plank. Used predominantly in carpentry, planks are important in the construction of ships, houses, bridges, and many other structures. They also serve as supports to form shelves and tables.
